Kristin F. Hepler, LCMHCS, LCAS, CCS

Kristin F. Hepler, owner of SCS, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, and Certified Clinical Supervisor. Earning her Master of Education degree in Community Counseling from Winthrop University in 2005, she has over 15 years of experience in treating individuals with mental health and substance use issues. 

Kristin strives to create a safe, open and relaxed atmosphere that allows individuals to explore and learn new coping strategies for what brought them into therapy.  Kristin utilizes a variety of techniques and interventions in therapy as there is no ‘one size fits all.’  Kristin enjoys teaching CBT techniques, mindfulness/meditation, DBT skills; as well as narrative therapy, reality therapy and is EMDR Level 2 trained by the EMDRIA Institute.

Tomika Haynes-Hubert, LCSW, LCAS

Tomika Haynes-Hubert comes to Spence Clinical Services with 20 years of clinical experience.  Tomika received her Master of Social Work from the University of South Columbia in 2003 and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS).  

Tomika believes that therapy is a collaborative process between two people; an opportunity to examine your life and relationships in safe, compassionate and nonjudgmental space.  Her main goal is to help her clients feel supported, validated, and empowered to build upon their unique strengths while also developing coping strategies to manage life stressors. Tomika utilizes a person-centered approach incorporating cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, reality therapy, motivational interviewing, psycho-education, and mindfulness strategies.
